Dr. Kesara Thanyalakphak, Managing Director of Sena Development Public Company Limited, revealed that the new wave of COVID-19 has had a significant impact since late last year. Following the Cabinet's resolution on January 26, 2021, additional measures were introduced to assist those affected by the COVID-19 outbreak in the form of tax measures or a "tax package": 1. A 90% reduction in land and building tax rates for 2021, with only 10% to be collected; 2. A reduction in property transfer fees from 2% of the appraised value to 0.01%; and 3. A reduction in mortgage fees from 1% of the mortgage value to 0.01%, which helps reduce costs for homes priced at no more than 3 million Baht.

These tax measures are seen as a way to alleviate financial burdens and positively impact customers who are ready and wish to purchase housing. Last year, Sena launched a special campaign, "SENA ZERO COVID," to assist customers who booked and were in the process of paying down payments close to transferring ownership. Sena provided support to customers in all cases, understanding their situation during these challenging times.

Recently, a special campaign has been launched to assist all Sena customers affected by the new wave of COVID-19, "SENA HERO VACCINE". For customers purchasing homes and condos during this period, Sena offers a maximum 3-month down payment deferral and will cover both principal and interest payments for up to 24 months, with discounts up to 700,000 Baht applicable to all new and ready-to-move-in projects across all price ranges, encompassing 14 projects.
